Kleinberg Kaplan’s Jamie Nash quoted in The Wall Street Journal on Rifts at Two Sigma
Kleinberg Kaplan partner Jamie Nash was quoted in an article in The Wall Street Journal titled, “Inside the Escalating Feud at One of Wall Street’s Biggest Hedge Funds.” The article covers the deteriorating relationship between the co-founders at Two Sigma, a hedge fund with approximately $60 billion in AUM.
In a securities filing in March, Two Sigma included a paragraph titled “Certain Risks Associated with Management and Governance Challenges.” The Journal notes that this section “warned that Two Sigma’s management committee—which includes only [co-founders] Overdeck and Siegel—is having difficulty making key decisions.” Nash shares, “I’ve never seen anything like this.” He further adds, “Disagreements among founders aren’t uncommon, but I’ve never heard of a disclosure like this.”
