Ross Yustein Featured in Real Estate Weekly Article

Real Estate Weekly’s article, “Amazon to Long Island City report raises excitement, concerns,” discusses the impact of Amazon potentially opening a new headquarters (HQ2) in Long Island City (LIC). Ross Yustein, Kleinberg Kaplan’s Real Estate Chair notes, “For the New York metro area, there are numerous positive impacts, including a few billion dollars in construction spending, a significant number of relatively good-paying jobs … and the further solidification of NYC as ‘Silicon Alley,’ a hub for the high-tech industry.”

Despite LIC’s unprecedented economic and population growth in the last decade, others fear how Amazon will affect issues such as affordable housing, public transportation, and vehicle traffic.
