Kleinberg Kaplan Real Estate Partner Christopher Terry Recognized as Rising Star by Real Estate Weekly

Firm News | April 29, 2019

We are proud to announce that Kleinberg Kaplan real estate partner Christopher Terry has been recognized as a Rising Star by Real Estate Weekly.

The annual listing by the longest-running real estate publication in New York City recognizes professionals that have made significant contributions to the industry and who are destined to be leaders in the field.

Terry was part of the Kleinberg Kaplan team that advised on one of the most significant hospitality transactions in New York in the past few years. The firm represented Elliott Management Corporation and GFI Capital Resources Group in a joint venture to acquire The Parker New York hotel.

Earlier in 2018, Terry was instrumental in Kleinberg Kaplan’s representation of the Children’s Museum of Manhattan in its acquisition of 361 Central Park West – which doubled its existing space and will serve as its permanent home for years to come.

Terry’s practice involves real estate and real estate finance law, with a general concentration in joint venture transactions, real estate development, sales and acquisitions, financing, leasing and real estate private equity.

In addition to the two matters above, Terry has been involved with several other New York-based transactions as well as a number of high-profile transactions taking place outside of the metropolitan area.

Kleinberg Kaplan’s Real Estate practice represents national and local developers, owners, lenders, joint ventures and tenants in capital raising, development, acquisition, financing, jv formation and leasing of large-scale commercial, office, retail, industrial and mixed-use projects.
