We are pleased to announce that Kleinberg Kaplan has been ranked by real estate publication Multi-Housing News (MHN) as one of the 2014 leading real estate law firms in the United States. The list includes 32 law firms – from national, multi-office firms to mid-sized and niche players – that are recognized for representing the world’s best-known real estate and financial institutions in the most noteworthy and complex transactions of the past year.

Kleinberg Kaplan’s real estate practice was recognized for its notable real estate transactional work, particularly its representation of hedge fund and private equity fund investors in major real estate investment, development and acquisition projects throughout the United States. MHN highlighted the firm’s representation of Elliott Management in a joint venture to make a $110 million preferred equity investment into a $500 million Manhattan condo development.

The MHN Leading Law Firms Survey was sent out to firms with substantial experience in commercial real estate. The rankings were determined by a number of factors including: growth of the firms, levels of revenue generated, practice areas, attorney experience, recent transactions, litigations and development work.
