Michael Levine advises hedge funds and investment banks on legal issues related to the purchase and sale of loans, including par and distressed bank debt, notes, and trade claims, as well as equity interests and other securities issued by distressed companies located in North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia. He also assists hedge funds and other financial institutions with issues related to claims against companies that have filed or are about to file for bankruptcy protection by reviewing and analyzing pre-petition and post-petition credit and loan agreements, as well as DIP financings.
