Michael Levine advises financial institutions on the purchase and sale of par and distressed assets. These assets include secured bank loans, subordinated debt (second lien and mezzanine debt), notes, and trade claims, as well as equity interests and other securities issued by companies located in North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia and Australasia.
Michael also assists clients with issues related to claims against companies that have filed or are about to file for bankruptcy protection. He reviews and analyzes pre- and post-petition credit agreements, as well as DIP financings.
Michael’s practice also includes general corporate transactions. He analyzes and negotiates loan agreements, operating agreements and other contracts.
